KV - SUPW Dept. In SUPW two activites are covered 1. Essential Area 2. Elective Area Essential Area :- Under this students learn to take care look after their own needs, and those of their neighborhood & community involving manual work & social services. Elective Area :- Under this student through repeated practice in an activity of their own choices acquire enough skill in productive work & services. Activity :- 1. M/R of domestic Electrical appliance 2. Electronic project 3. Gardening 4. Drawing 5. Glass-painting 6. Book-Binding EXAMINATION DEPARTMENT "An ideal examination is as neutral as the equator, as free from matice as a pint-pot, a foot rule or a clinical thermometer." Internal and external examinations results shows the achievements and the progress in various educational endeavours of the Vidyalaya. CBSE RESULTS 2001 - 57 % 2002 - 100% 2003 - 95% 2004 - 100% 2005 - 100% In the year 2003-04 K.V.(OF) Bhusawal excellent in lass XII CBSE examinations with 100% first divisions. We could continue the excellent performance in the year 2004-05 with 36% of students getting distinction. We are also proced to say that in the entire Mumbai Region K.V. (OF) BSL is one among the 3 schools who got 100% pass in class XII. Moreover in the Nashik cluster K.V.(OF) BSL is the one and only one school who achieved 100% pass in class XII CLASS X 2001 - 96% 2002 - 100% 2003 - 78% 2004 - 100% 2005 - 98% In class X more than 70% of students got first division. Two students got CBSE merit certigicate in the CBSE class X Hindo. 1. Adil A. Khan 2. Deepak Yadav OUR PRIDE CLASS x First Position - Shashank Agrawal - 87.4% Second position - Aadil Ahmed Khan - 85.6% Third position - Chetan agrawal - 85.2% ClassXII First position - Prabhat Kumar Maurya - 85.8% Second Position - N.Devi - 83% Third Position - Sangeeta Upadhayay - 82.4% In the internal examination K.V(OF) BSL have shown excellent performance. 98% of the students passed and among them 74% with first division and 40 marks for the third term. There is a common unit test q. paper for each class if there are two or more sections in a class. Unit Tests are conducted as per the dates given by the Regional Office. There is a cumulative examination in the month of November for which Q. papers are prepared either at cluster level or at regional level. The Session Ending Examinations is in March for which the Q.paper is prepared at the regional level and evaluation is also done at the regional level. There are practical exams for IX and XI students in science subjects. From 2005-06 onwards practical exams will be there for class IX Math's with 20 marks. In social science internal assessment is done for 20 marks in class IX from 2005-06 onwards. For each subject, final assessment is done at the end of the academic year 10% weightage is taken from project 10% weightage for home assignment, 20% from the U.T., 20% from the U.T. 20% form cumulative exam and 40% from the SEE. We are sure that KV(OF) BSL will fly higher with added feathers year after year. For the board going students KV(OF) BSL is conducting monthly test which is cumulative. In the month of September a selection test is conducted to assess the children. There are pre-boards organized by the regional office. After all these preparation our children are fully prepared for the CBSE Examinations which will be starting form the first week of March. CBSE practical exams are conducted usually in the second week of February. From 2006 onwards 20 mark is given as internal assessment for social science in class X From 2007 onwards 20 mark will be there for the practical exam in class X Math's. We have internal assessment for classes VI to IX and XI. Internal assessment is a continuous process spread over the academic year with 3 unit tests of 40 marks each. Project work is given related to any concept taught daring each term. First two terms 30 marks and third term 40 marks are given for project work. Home assignment is given regularly but assessment is done term wise with 30 marks for the first two terms |
