1. To inspire the students to read good literary works both in English and Hindi.

2. To inspire them to collect more information about the famous literary figures in both the languages.

3. To inspire them to surf websites related to great authors, poets and dramatists.

4. To inspire them to dramatize stories and write stories from one act plays, compose poems and write stories related to syllabus.

5. To inspire them to draw pictures of the famous literary personalities.

One student from VIII A N. Maya has down loaded interesting information about William Shakespeare from the Internet site and decorated it in the Literary Club corner.

On 15th July 2005, the first meeting of Literary Club was conducted under the leadership of Mrs. Neelima Limaye, the co-ordinating team has unanimously decided the aims and objectives of the Club. The students if ask the secondary classes except the students of X & XII classes are divided into four group every week it will be a turn of each group to participate in the activities of Literary Club. Students showed great interest to undertake various activities.

Proposed Activities in this month :- It is unanimously decided by all the co-ordinates that Shri. Munshi Prechand’s the greatest novelist of Hindi Literature, Birthday should be celebrated on 31st July this month.
