PHYSICS LABORATORY

1. Our Vidyalay provides a big and special hall for physics laboratory. It is well ventilated with sufficient no. of windows, fans, exhaust fans and facilitated with good no. of tube lights/

2. We meet all CBSE norms for the laboratory. It is well electrified with sufficient no. of electrical points. We have six properly working optical benches placed on four tables of suitable size where children can verify their knowledge of ray optics.

3. Electrical experiments are performed on the shelf provided near the wall. Main electrical experiments are related to potentiometer, meter bridge, sonometer, galvanometer, post office box, ohm’s law etc. for class X and XII

4. Students of Class IX and XI perform machanical experiments and learn the science of measurement through accurate instruments like venire calipers, screw gauge, spherometer, beam balance etc.

5. We have more than sufficient equipments and instruments for performing experiments / activities in class VI to XII

6. Classes IX and X is also provided with separate period for practicals. Students of Class XI and XII get 8 periods per week for practical in physics.

7. Every year we organize school level science exhibition in which students show their hidden talent and aptitude for science.

8. We have large no. of demonstration models like windmill, wind generator, dynamo, diesel engine, petrol engine, galvanometer, ammeter, voltmeter, dip circle etc. to make class room teaching more effective.
